The X-Pod Step used throughout this unit allows children to incrementally grow their ability to traverse overhead components. Since the ability to succeed in competitive play activities is very important to children, the X-Pod Step allows them to stop, pause, or continue without revealing failing strength or motivation, then contineu when ready. The step also facilitates imaginative games, serving as "base."
